Job Description

Position: SMO TRAINER (Sewing Machine Operator Trainer)

Location : Daltonganj

Responsibilities:

Conduct classroom and practical training sessions as per DDU-GKY norms.
Guide and monitor trainees’ progress during the training period.
Maintain attendance, assessment, and progress records.
Ensure candidates are placement-ready by the end of training.
Coordinate with the Centre Head and project team for mobilization and placement.

Requirements:

Education: Any Graduate (preferred: Garment Construction / Fashion Design / Apparel Technology).
Experience: 2–3 years as an SMO Trainer in the skill sector (DDUKKor similar).
Certification: TOT (Training of Trainers) certificate in relevant trade is mandatory.
Skills: Good communication, stitching/cutting expertise, classroom management.
