Role & responsibilities Study and evaluate the scope of work outlined in the ITT (Invitation to Tender) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) to understand project requirements thoroughly. Evaluate and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and quantify the required resources accurately. Prepare RFP Package to be supplied to subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements. Develop Subcontractor, Vendor bid evaluation make recommendations to the Lead Estimator. Develop clarifications pertaining to client review subcontractors exceptions and exclusions. Preparation of commercial quotation and proposal for the small-scale scope. Prepare comprehensive cost estimations for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, engineering, etc.) to gather data and pricing. Maintain and update cost databases for future reference.
