Enable smooth production and installation of nacelle & hub together with sourcing, installation, and production teams. Develop new concepts for mechanical parts and systems and introduce modularization concepts for Nacelle and Hub including easy to manufacture / install or service. Enable methods & tools for smooth production, transportation (onshore & offshore) and installation of the wind turbine & its components/assemblies. Enable modular nacelle & hub concepts to implement country specific options without effort (e.g. adaptation to Europe, optional products, customer specific requirements) Built-up of global mechanical engineering team (competency and efficiency) Train and increase competency of current staff Support certification activities related to Nacelle & Hub DECS/MECS Support & drive verification & validation test protocols. Make sure NCR s are solved on-time and with respective quality Monitor execution tightly and proactively mitigate/Eliminate risks. Implement lean processes and management mechanisms for superior performance. Developing processes and tools to optimize the work of the Mechanical Engineering team (e.g. fully automated 2D drawings out of 3D-model, fully automated load transfer to suppliers, etc.)
Desired Knowledge and Skills: In-depth understanding of grid codes, CEA requirements, and regulatory frameworks governing grid operations in India and other relevant countries. Good understanding of grid simulation software tools (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT, Power Factory) Shall have good understanding of Steady State Simulations with PSS/E, PSCAD etc software for Wind Turbine Experience in supporting customer ensuring smooth grid commissioning. Roles & Responsibilities: Interpret and analyze grid codes, CEA requirements, and other regulatory documents to ensure compliance with gridrelated standards. Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams, government agencies, and customers regarding grid code requirements and implications for grid-connected projects. Develop and utilize grid simulation models to assess the impact of grid-connected projects on grid stability, reliability, and performance. Justify grid-relevant requirements to government agencies, regulatory bodies, and customers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory standards. Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations to communicate grid code compliance, simulation results, and project requirements effectively. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and regulatory compliance teams, to address grid-related requirements and ensure successful project implementation. Maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to stay updated on evolving grid codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and customers to enhance understanding of grid code requirements and compliance strategies. Identify potential risks and challenges related to grid code compliance and propose mitigation measures to ensure project success. Stay abreast of technological advancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes in grid operations to continuously improve grid code compliance processes and methodologies.
