Senior/Lead Senior Engineer, XR ML systems

Role Overview: Qualcomm XR Research India is looking for individuals to join the XR ML systems team to work on state-of-the-art XR solutions for Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) use cases. As an Individual Contributor, you will be responsible for implementing AI algorithms, optimizing and migrating them to Qualcomm hardware, and analyzing and improving the performance of ML/DL algorithms on Qualcomm devices. You will play a key role in building prototypes, mapping algorithm blocks to HW accelerators, and delivering high-quality results within project timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Quickly comprehend and implement SOTA AI algorithms on Linux PC, migrate to Qualcomm HW, and optimize those algorithms - Apply systems thinking to dissect XR use-cases into AI/ML/DL algorithms, build accurate and efficient prototypes in Python and/or C++ - Analyze CV/AI/ML use cases and map algorithm blocks to HW accelerators like HTP, GPU, and NSP - Utilize Qualcomm ML tools like SNPE, QNN SDK, and AIMET to analyze and improve the performance of ML/DL algorithms on Qualcomm devices - Take ownership of delivering high-quality results, meeting project timelines, and proactively unblocking constraints by collaborating with key stakeholders - Communicate progress to key stakeholders through oral and written methods, seek feedback, and implement solutions to address gaps Qualification Required: - 4+ years of hands-on experience with developing, optimizing, and deploying ML models on embedded platforms - Masters degree in electrical engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field - Proficiency in transformer-based DL algorithms, programming languages (Python, C, C++), and DL frameworks like PyTorch, ONNX, and Tensorflow - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team Additional Company Details: Omit this section as there are no additional details of the company in the job description.,
