Senior User Interface (UI) Engineer

You will be joining Aantra, a leading digital solutions company based in Mumbai, India, specializing in designing and developing high-performing eCommerce and SaaS websites. As a UI Engineer at Aantra, you will play a crucial role in translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring responsive and intuitive interfaces for eCommerce, SaaS, and other web-based applications. Your responsibilities will include developing clean and scalable user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, integrating front-end components with backend systems, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities - Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. - Ensure responsive design principles for optimal user experience across devices and browsers. - Integrate front-end components with backend systems using PHP and other relevant technologies. - Optimize applications for speed and scalability. - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers for technical implementation. - Maintain and improve existing user interfaces. - Write reusable code and libraries for future use. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members. Technical Requirements Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS preferred), JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, React.js, PHP (for UI-level integration with backend). Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, UI performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG guidelines), usability best practices, version control using Git. Bonus Skills: Experience with Figma/Sketch/XD, UI testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest), Next.js, Vue.js, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento).
