Senior Test Engineer

We are currently seeking Selenium with Java Professionals with over 5 years of experience in the following areas: **Responsibilities:** - Define the overall test strategy for assigned features. - Estimate testing effort, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and assist in rolling out changes. - Define automation strategy and ensure testability. - Write high-quality code to automate testing for assigned feature areas. - Develop a deep understanding of the product, engineering processes, tools, and concepts to effectively pinpoint defects. - Participate in test design and test systems architecture discussions, proposing and discussing solutions related to domain areas. - Document defects efficiently and collaborate with the Development team to triage and troubleshoot defects. - Coordinate testing across multiple teams. - Participate in product and technology initiatives, recommending improvements. - Collaborate with other QE engineers, product managers, and development engineering leads to ensure product specifications align with market needs and quality standards. - Identify process and technology challenges, driving changes towards successful adoption. - Identify project risks, dependencies, and provide alternative solutions to reduce risk. **Skills/Qualifications:** - Strong understanding of eCommerce product development and quality engineering processes, standards, and technologies, including agile methodologies. - 5+ years of software development and/or quality engineering experience. - Proven work experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation. - Experience in Rest APIs is preferred. - Exceptional customer focus and the ability to ensure solutions meet end users" real needs. - Experience in developing test automation or software applications using languages like Python, C/C++, Java. - Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Karate. - Experience in implementing test script optimization techniques. - Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Proven ability to deliver projects on time with good quality. - Ownership of resolving obstacles in testing and product release by collaborating with different teams. - Experience working with microservices architecture design patterns. - Familiarity with open-source, cloud, and SaaS ecosystems. - Understanding of the entire project lifecycle and ability to estimate and execute tasks throughout the lifecycle. - Strong grasp of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM).
