Senior Test Engineer- Automation Tester with Robot Framework and Python

As a Senior Test Engineer- Automation Tester at CGI, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation solutions for modern, scalable applications, including those based on AI/ML technologies and deployed in cloud-native environments. Your role will involve working closely with development, DevOps, and data science teams to ensure product quality across APIs, microservices, and ML pipelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework. - Design, write, and execute automated test cases for backend services, APIs, and ML pipelines. - Build and optimize reusable components/libraries to enhance automation efficiency and scalability. - Contribute to testing AI/ML models, validating data quality, model outputs, and performance. - Automate test cases for RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized applications. - Implement and manage test environments using Docker and Kubernetes. - Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and overall quality assurance efforts. - Collaborate with developers, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to enhance overall product quality. - Maintain clear documentation for automation tools, frameworks, and test plans. **Qualifications Required:** **Must to have Skills:** - Strong programming experience in Python. - Expertise in Robot Framework, including building custom libraries. - Proven experience in test automation framework design and development. - Hands-on experience with API automation tools (e.g., Requests, Postman, RestAssured). - Exposure to AI/ML testing, validating models, predictions, and ML pipelines. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based testing environments. - Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated build/test systems. - Familiarity with modern QA processes, including test planning and defect management. **Good to have Skills:** - AI/ML experience.
