Senior Technical Specialist

As a Senior Network Engineer within CDO Infra Networks, you will be responsible for managing the life cycle, delivery, quality, and performance of the Wide Area Network, internet connections, network traffic management, (W)LAN, DNS/DHCP, and all other aspects of connectivity for Nokia Networks offices and partners. Your role will be crucial in ensuring reliable service operation for IT network services from the network operations center (NOC). Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing production network issues and following troubleshooting mechanisms - Working in a 24x7 support model to ensure continuous network operations - Owning incident ticket resolution end-to-end - Coordinating with junior NOC engineers for seamless operations - Coordinating solution provisioning and deployment by WAN connectivity service providers - Escalating very complex network issues to L4 engineers for support Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent - Over 10 years of experience in complex network services - In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, and related technologies - Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS - Hands-on experience with Nokia 7X50/77XX/7210 hardware/software and CLI - Experience in enterprise WAN architecture and security with Firewalls - Strong understanding of enterprise wired and wireless networks Desired skills: - Experience in requirement gathering processes - Understanding of ITIL processes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Ability to thrive in a global, multicultural team At Nokia, you will have continuous learning opportunities, well-being programs for mental and physical support, membership and support from employee resource groups and mentoring programs, and work in diverse teams with an inclusive culture where individuals thrive and are empowered.
