Senior Staff Engineer - PC Gaming Content Development

As an experienced engineer at Qualcomm's in-house Game Studio, your role involves developing high-end games and gaming technology showcases for Snapdragon based products. You will have the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge pre-commercial portable devices, contributing to the future of gaming in always-on, always-connected Snapdragon PCs. Your responsibilities will include developing new gaming content, porting existing games from other platforms, and optimizing CPU, GPU, and overall system performance for Windows on Snapdragon. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new gaming content and port existing games - Optimize CPU, GPU, and system performance for Windows on Snapdragon - Work on cutting-edge pre-commercial portable devices - Contribute to the future of gaming in always-on, always-connected Snapdragon PCs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience - Expertise in C/C++ - Exposure to Game development domains such as Gameplay, Audio, UI, AI etc. - Understanding of Game Engine Animation system - Experience with Windows game development and optimization - Solid 3D graphics related mathematics background - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated & creatively inspired individual Preferred Qualifications: - Experience developing content with Unreal Engine or any other 3D Game Engine - Familiarity with 3D graphics profilers and debuggers such as RenderDoc, Pix, NSight, etc - Experience optimizing applications for the target hardware - At least one shipped title on any platform showcasing product lifecycle knowledge Company's Additional Details: Qualcomm's Gaming group is dedicated to next-generation gaming technologies and delivering exceptional gaming experiences.
