Senior Software Fullstack Engineer

As a Software Senior Engineer (UI) at Boomi, you will have the opportunity to develop sophisticated systems and software solutions that align with the customer's business objectives and needs. Working closely with product management, engineering teams, and customer support, you will contribute to the enhancement of Boomi's award-winning integration and automation platform. In this role, you will be an integral part of an Agile team, collaborating on the realization of features throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include guiding the design, development, testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services, as well as investigating and resolving complex customer issues. Additionally, you will have the autonomy to work independently with minimal guidance, while also mentoring fellow Boomi engineers through design collaboration and code reviews. To excel in this position, you should possess the ability to adapt and learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with the support of training and hands-on experience. Your background in software development should demonstrate proficiency in object-oriented design concepts and experience with source control systems and continuous integration tools. Familiarity with agile collaboration tools and Web Services technologies like REST, SOAP, and WSDL will be beneficial in contributing to the success of the team. Ideal candidates for this role will have at least 5 years of Java programming experience, along with 2+ years of developing GWT based applications and 3+ years of frontend development using HTML and CSS. A strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and frontend technologies is essential, as well as problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through uncertain situations. Additionally, being a highly motivated team player with a mindset for continuous learning will be key to thriving in the dynamic environment at Boomi. While not mandatory, experience with JavaScript, cloud technologies like AWS, and Linux/Unix environments are considered advantageous.
