Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer to build and own large-scale, enterprise-grade backend systems. This role is designed for a strong Java professional who has recently extended their expertise into Generative AI. You will work as a senior individual contributor, taking full ownership of system design, development, and delivery, with Spring AI as the core framework for GenAI integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem. Architect scalable APIs and event-driven systems with a focus on performance and reliability. Integrate LLM-powered features using Spring AI, applying practical GenAI concepts such as prompt design and retrieval-based architectures. Take end-to-end ownership of features, from technical design to production deployment, while operating independently in high-ambiguity environments.

Required Skills & Experience

deep expertise in Java, OOP principles, concurrency, and database persistence

Spring Framework and Spring AI.

exposure to GenAI systems and LLM

Ability to make sound architectural decisions with minimal guidance.
