Senior Software Engineer - SQL Server

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in SQL Server, you will be taking on the role of a Team Lead within the organization. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience and any graduate education qualification, you will be working on a permanent basis with the requirement of immediate availability or within a maximum of 15 days. This position offers flexibility in terms of location, with the possibility of being based anywhere in India. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around collaborating with the development team to create, implement, and oversee database models essential for core product development. In this capacity, you will be tasked with crafting SQL database views, tables, and stored procedures to bolster engineering product development efforts. Additionally, you will be instrumental in designing and upholding SSIS, T-SQL, and SQL jobs, as well as developing intricate stored procedures to facilitate data loading into staging tables from various systems. Furthermore, your role will involve delving into analysis, design specifications, development, implementation, and maintenance of the database. You will also be responsible for designing database partitioning for archival purposes, ensuring that best practices and standards are adhered to in utilizing tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Excel Power Pivot/View/Map for Data Analytics solutions design. Documenting complex processes, business requirements, and specifications will also fall within your purview. In terms of technical skills, you are expected to possess expertise in database design, normalization, query design, and performance tuning. Proficiency in writing complex Transact SQL code, MS SQL Server query tuning, and developing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers is essential. Experience with Indexes, column store index, SQL server column storage, Query execution plan, authentication, authorizations for the Database, and establishing best practices for database design and development activities is crucial. Additionally, familiarity with database migration activities and possessing strong analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills will be advantageous for excelling in this role.,
