Senior Software Engineer-Embedded systems, C/C++

Role Overview: As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Baxter, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software features and components supporting the company's hospital products and healthcare innovations. Your expertise in embedded systems, C/C++ programming, and software development will empower you to tackle complex technical challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to further Baxter's mission of enhancing healthcare access. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership by designing, developing, and documenting software features with a focus on quality and adherence to standards. - Lead technical design reviews at the software architecture level to ensure alignment with company standards and best practices. - Drive activities such as software FMEA, technical risk mitigation, design reviews, unit test strategies, static code analysis, memory profiling, and thread modeling for components or features. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with the Architect and LSD to define technical solutions for business challenges that align with company goals. - Execute technical solutions for complex problems, meeting high-quality standards within tight timelines. - Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes, practices, and technical guidance adoption within the team. Technical Expertise: - Demonstrate expertise in C and C++ programming, design patterns, and multi-threading concepts. - Hands-on experience with RTOS/Linux platforms, unit test frameworks, and tools like JIRA, Github, and Gerrit for tracking and version control. - Possess strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field. - 7+ years of experience in embedded systems, emphasizing C/C++ programming proficiency. - Prior exposure to the Healthcare domain is beneficial. - Strong technical leadership and collaboration abilities essential for driving technical solutions and ensuring team success.,
