Senior Software Engineer - BGP

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Network Routing & Switching Protocols Software Development, you will have the opportunity to work with top-notch talent and contribute to the innovation of networking technologies. **Responsibilities:** - Write Feature Spec covering requirements and detailed design. - Implement improvements and features either individually or as part of a team. - Triage and resolve internal and customer-found issues. - Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries. - Peer review Feature Spec, Code, Test Plan, and other engineering documents. - Improve performance and scale of existing features and solutions. - Assist with interviews, onboarding, and mentoring of new hires. **Education/Qualifications:** - BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degree. - Proficiency in writing high-quality C/C++ code. - 5+ years of hands-on development experience in areas such as: - Design and development of BGP protocol areas (BGP-LS, MP-BGP, BGP-LU with SR, BGP-EVPN, etc.). - Design and development of Control Plane Infra - RIB, FIB, BFD. - Design and development of Overlay Technologies - L3VPN, EVPN, VxLAN. - Segment Routing based fabric SR-MPLS, SRv6. - Troubleshooting large-scale deployments. - Model-based manageability frameworks using YANG, XML, JSON. **Benefits:** - Generous compensation packages including equity. - Medical Insurance. - Parental Leave. - Sabbatical leave (After 4 years of service).
