As a Senior Software Developer at GIBL.IN in Kolkata, you will be responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development, including developing back-end components, assisting front-end developers, testing, and launching. You are expected to have technical proficiency and experience in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, and CodeIgniter. Knowledge of Angular 6+ and Node.js is preferable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop high-end applications using web technologies like AJAX, PHP, and MySQL - Scripting and Object-Oriented Programming with PHP - Create HTML and CSS W3C compliant applications - Work with MySQL, including triggers, database building, procedures, and performance optimization - Design and implement databases - Proficient in Javascript and its frameworks like JQuery - Familiarity with version control systems like GIT or SVN - Work in a later shift if required **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field - Proven working experience in PHP, MySQL, MVC frameworks, and JavaScript - In-depth understanding of CorePHP and MVC frameworks like CodeIgniter - Proficient with database design and implementation techniques - Experience with RESTful APIs/Web Service - Additional certifications or qualifications are an added advantage In addition to technical skills, you should possess strong English communication skills, effective time management skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems, test, and maintain product software and databases.
