Senior Snowflake Consultant

As a Data and Analytics Senior specializing in Snowflake at EY, you will have the opportunity to contribute to solving complex business challenges using data and technology. Your role will involve leading and architecting the migration of data analytics environment from Teradata to Snowflake, developing and deploying big data pipelines in a cloud environment, and optimizing model codes for faster execution. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and Architect migration of data analytics environment from Teradata to Snowflake with a focus on performance and reliability - Develop and deploy big data pipelines in a cloud environment using Snowflake cloud DW - Design, develop, and migrate existing on-prem ETL routines to Cloud Service - Interact with senior leaders to understand their business goals and contribute to the delivery of workstreams - Design and optimize model codes for faster execution Skills and Attributes for Success: - Hands-on experience in data warehousing and ETL - Proficiency in Snowflake development and modeling - Experience in integrating with third-party tools and ETL tools - Familiarity with Snowflake advanced concepts such as setting up resource monitors and performance tuning - Ability to apply object-oriented and functional programming styles to real-world Big Data Engineering problems - Proficiency in developing data pipelines for batch and Real-Time/Stream analytics on structured and unstructured data Qualifications Required: - A computer science graduate or equivalent with 3 - 7 years of industry experience - Working experience in an Agile-based delivery methodology - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Technical expertise in all aspects of Snowflake - Ability to deploy Snowflake following best practices and ensure knowledge transfer to customers Additional Company Details: At EY, you will be part of an inclusive culture that values your unique voice and perspective.
