We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior Resident in Psychiatry to support both clinical and academic responsibilities in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Role Overview: The Senior Resident will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychiatric care under supervision while also contributing actively to academic activities including case presentations, journal clubs, training programs, and mental health outreach initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Manage patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions including neurodevelopmental, mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance use disorders. Monitor and manage patients on psychotropic medications and engage in regular follow-ups. Participate in academic sessions including teaching, case discussions, CMEs, and seminars. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across psychiatry, psychology, and allied therapies. Assist in organizing and executing mental health awareness initiatives and community outreach. Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to ethical standards of care. Required Qualifications & Skills: Educational Qualification: MD / DNB in Psychiatry / DPM in Psychiatry from an NMC-recognized institution. Clinical competence in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management. Strong interest in teaching, academic activities, and community-based mental health.
