Senior Quantitative Finance Application Developer Financial Instruments and Technology

Role Overview: You will be joining Kroll's Financial Instruments & Technology practice as a Senior Consultant, Quantitative Finance Developer. In this role, you will be part of a team of financial instruments experts who assist clients in the valuation and modelling of complex financial instruments. Key Responsibilities: - Work with a team of developers, quantitative analysts, and modelers to review, debug, and develop financial models for different asset classes - Develop technical expertise in the valuation of alternative assets by working with high-profile clients and industry professionals - Assist in designing financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing analyses - Write technical reports and deliver analyses to fund investment and finance teams, corporate management groups, and board committees Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline - 4+ years of professional programming experience (Fewer years considered for candidates with higher academic qualifications) - Expertise in financial valuation theory, methodologies, applications, and constructing and reviewing valuation models for complex financial instruments - Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills - Experience in financial modelling with Excel, statistical modelling tools like Python & Pandas or R, and 2+ years of professional programming experience in Python - Experience working with large datasets using SQL Note: For formal application, visit careers.kroll.com.
