Senior QA Automation - Python/ SDET Python Automation

As a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium with Serenity and familiarity with Playwright, your role will involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts efficiently. You will need a strong background in both Java and Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality through manual testing. Your responsibilities include: - Reviewing requirements to identify all areas of functional and non-functional testing required within the timeframe. - Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium with Serenity and Playwright. - Creating and executing manual tests and providing official QA signoff. - Maintaining manual test cases using Jira Xray. - Ensuring the product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional, and user-friendly. - Applying all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes, and procedures. - Adhering to agreed-upon functional specifications and applicable quality assurance standards. - Staying updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to QA automation and incorporating them into testing practices. Qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelors Degree with 7-9 years of experience in Manual and Python-based Automation testing. - Experience with BDD framework and Behave feature. - Knowledge of Serenity, Cucumber Playwright, and Puppeteer. - Proven experience in optimizing existing test suits and identifying performance issues. - Proven experience in parallelizing tests to improve performance. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to create test plans and test cases per requirements and design in a trailing QA agile environment. - Ability to identify and prioritize test cases for manual testing/automation, considering both functional and non-functional requirements. - Experience in executing test cases across all functional areas of the product. - Ability to investigate and analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects. - Working with developers to understand the technical architecture and implementation of features. Nice to have qualifications include: - Knowledge of alternative frameworks like Playwright. - Knowledge of Java. - Knowledge of API testing using Postman tool. - Experience with testing Client-facing SaaS products. - Experience with performance testing using jMeter/K6.
