Job Summary

Ozrit is seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in backend development, Django, Django REST Framework, database management, API development, and third-party integrations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable and secure backend applications, developing RESTful APIs, optimizing database performance, and integrating external services.

This position is strictly for candidates with 2–5 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates with less than 2 years or more than 5 years of experience will not be considered. Internship experience will not count toward the required professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Implement and maintain microservices architecture.
• Design, manage, and optimize databases using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Implement caching and background task processing using Redis, Celery, and Celery Beat.
• Develop authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth 2.0.
• Integrate payment gateways, external REST APIs, SMS and OTP services, email services, and social login systems.
• Implement webhooks and event-driven communication between services.
• Optimize API performance and implement appropriate error-handling mechanisms.
• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests using Pytest and Django Test Framework.
• Use Git, GitHub, and GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
• Document APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI and test endpoints using Postman.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and application logging tools.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable, maintainable, and efficient backend solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 2 years and maximum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong practical experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Hands-on experience with databases, API development, background processing, and third-party integrations.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Must be comfortable attending a face-to-face interview.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
• Candidates currently based in Hyderabad are preferred.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
