Senior Principal Member of Technical Staff

Role Overview: You will be joining the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team as a Consulting Member of Technical Staff. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building and operating a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a multi-tenant cloud environment. Your expertise and passion will be crucial in solving complex problems related to distributed highly available services and virtualized infrastructure. You will play a significant role in designing and building innovative systems to support critical business applications for customers. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with senior architects and product management to define requirements - Design and implement new features for the object store team - Provide technical leadership and guide engineering processes and procedures - Review code written by peers to ensure alignment with design principles - Participate in operating services hosting large amounts of data - Contribute to the operational excellence of the object storage service on a rotational basis Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with at least 10+ years of experience - Proficiency in a major Object Oriented Programming language such as Java, C#, or C++ - Strong background in relational/non-relational and distributed databases - Deep understanding of data structures, design patterns, and standard architectures for Distributed Systems - Experience in building, testing, and debugging robust production services - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning abilities Please note that the above job description is based on the information provided in the JD.,
