Senior Photographer & Editor

Role Overview: At 1Plus1 Studio, you will play a dual role as a lead wedding photographer and editor. Your responsibilities will include photographing weddings with creativity and emotional depth, collaborating closely with couples to understand their vision, working with videographers and the creative team to deliver cohesive visual stories, editing and retouching images with consistency, capturing candid moments and editorial-style portraits, staying updated on photography trends, tools, and techniques, managing timelines, and delivering projects within agreed deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Photograph weddings with creativity, emotional depth, and an editorial sensibility. - Collaborate closely with couples to understand their vision and ensure an exceptional experience. - Work in sync with videographers and the broader creative team to deliver cohesive visual stories. - Edit and retouch images with consistency, upholding 1Plus1 Studios signature style and quality. - Capture candid, natural moments as well as editorial-style portraits. - Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in photography. - Manage timelines and deliver projects within agreed deadlines. What Were Looking For: - Experience: 2-3 years as a professional wedding photographer; experience in candid, documentary, and editorial styles preferred. - Technical Skills: Proficient in using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and lenses; strong knowledge of Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop. - Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing versatility - from candid moments to creative couple portraits and detail shots. - Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to make couples comfortable and collaborate well with the team. - Adaptability: Ability to perform in dynamic wedding environments with changing light, weather, and timelines. - Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
