Job Description

You will be joining Apotex Inc., a Canadian-based global health company dedicated to producing high-quality and affordable medicines for patients worldwide. With a workforce of nearly 7,200 individuals across the globe, Apotex focuses on manufacturing, research and development, as well as commercial operations, making its medicines available in over 75 countries. The company's vertical integration strategy emphasizes the development and distribution of generic, biosimilar, and specialty products. In this role, your primary responsibility will involve performing and documenting the analysis of In-Process samples, finished products, Stability samples, and Cleaning Validation. Timely completion of analysis and data reporting are essential aspects of your duties, ensuring adherence to quality control protocols, cGLP standards, and departmental quality systems. Your tasks will include conducting in-process, finish product, and stability testing for various laboratory and commercial batches, preparing Stability Trend Reports, collecting and managing laboratory samples, and maintaining accurate records. Collaborating effectively within a team, you must uphold regulatory and compliance standards, as well as safety requirements in all your work. Demonstrating organizational values such as Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion is crucial. Additionally, you will support Senior Analysts, Team Leaders, or Group Leaders in the day-to-day operations of the Quality Control Laboratory. Adherence to compliance programs, including Global Business Ethics, Compliance Program, Quality policies, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies, is expected. To qualify for this role, you should hold an M.Sc/BPharm or equivalent degree. Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), task prioritization, and effective planning are essential. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in the GMP regulated pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
