The Qualifications We Seek

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• More than 5 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer managing business-as-usual (BAU) operations and network projects within a managed service provider (MSP) environment

• Strong expertise in the implementation, administration, documentation, and troubleshooting of enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching solutions such as

  Cisco ASR, Cisco Nexus, Cisco Meraki, and SD-WAN (Fortinet and Meraki)

  ; firewalls such as

  Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco

  ; load balancers such as

  Citrix and F5

  ; wireless networking solutions such as

  Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet

  ; and network virtualization technologies such as

  VMware NSX-T

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  SD-WAN and Microsoft Azure networking

  , with familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions preferred
• Experience supporting multi-tenant environments and clients with diverse network architectures and business requirements
• Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex network issues, implement workarounds, and manage multiple incidents under pressure
• Strong growth mindset, proactive attitude, and customer-first approach, with a commitment to high-performance service delivery
• Ability to independently manage small to medium-scale network projects and resolve complex technical incidents
• Exposure to

  AIOps technologies

  , scripting, and network automation, with relevant certifications considered an advantage
• Strong knowledge of

  ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks

  , with professional networking certifications such as CCNP or CCIE highly desirable

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Oversee business-as-usual (BAU) operations to maintain optimal network performance, security, and compliance across firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks, and load balancers.
• Design, plan, and execute network infrastructure projects, and ensure seamless handover to operations teams.
• Monitor network performance, proactively resolve incidents, and maintain service continuity in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Serve as the escalation point for complex network issues and major incidents.
• Maintain network policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent service quality and operational standards.
• Develop and update technical documentation, network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and drive continuous service improvements.
• Mentor network engineers through technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and professional support.
