As a Senior Mobile Developer (iOS + React Native) at Cvent, you will play a crucial role in developing industry-leading mobile applications. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Supporting our iOS apps by finding ways to architect and build new features in extensible, testable, efficient, and maintainable ways. - Collaborating with a large team of developers and architects across various languages and platforms on cross-functional Agile sprint teams. - Pushing the boundaries of mobile-centric problems like synchronization, asynchronous APIs, and leveraging offline device capabilities with creative solutions. - Creating intuitive, custom UI controls and interfaces to enhance user experience. - Mentoring and coaching other developers on best practices, standards, design patterns, and more. - Researching the latest technologies, testing, implementing, and sharing findings with the team. Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of iOS development experience in Swift or Objective-C within a commercial enterprise/product environment. - 2+ years" experience with React Native development and a strong passion for it. - Mastery of Swift, Objective-C, design patterns, Git, and the iOS SDK toolchain. - Experience collaborating with senior developers and architects across multiple platforms in an Agile environment. - Extensive hands-on experience in creating custom UI controls, consuming RESTful APIs, designing protocols, implementing delegate interfaces, animations, and performance optimization. - Understanding of React component lifecycle, state management, responsive layouts, and best practices for creating adaptive interfaces. - Familiarity with common 3rd party libraries for testing and development in React Native ecosystem. - Mastery of application design patterns. - Strong communication skills with experience working in globally distributed teams across multiple time zones. - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or comparable degree/work experience.
