Job Responsibilities? Design and develop code on an agile team of Engineers, a Product Owner, and Experience Designer Understand the legacy system PERL code base, and contribute to these areas and propose opportunities for modernization Accurately estimate the size of development tasks in story points, challenge other during estimation Understand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practices; hold other members of the team accountable for doing so Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality standards Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Participate and own production issues and troubleshooting Collaborate inclusively with cross-functional team members Typical Qualifications About 5-6 years of software engineering experience with significant product development expertise Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer 2+ years of developing microservices with Spring Boot framework Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (preferably Java); relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL with modern UI frameworks (preferably React) Experience working with NoSQL databases like Apache Cassandra Familiarity with designing and implementing event-driven systems, including experience using Apache Kafka for message brokering Experience with DevOps principles, and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins along with git, bitbucket or other source code repositories. Experience with deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS cloud platforms using Terraform Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of healthcare and electronic health records will be a plus
