Senior Manager/Director, Data Analytics

You will join ZAGENO, the largest life sciences lab supply marketplace, as a Senior Manager/Director, Data Analytics in India. In this role, you will lead a team of data professionals to deliver insights across Product, Finance, Operations, and Commercial functions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and mentoring a team of analysts and data scientists to provide accurate insights supporting key business objectives. - Collaborating with various teams to prioritize analytics initiatives. - Designing and maintaining automated dashboards and performance metrics using tools like Looker, Tableau, DBRX, or Power BI. - Developing scalable data models, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks in collaboration with engineering. - Analyzing customer behavior, product adoption, and operational/financial performance to identify opportunities. - Fostering a data-driven culture through training, enablement, and consistent data storytelling. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science. - 3+ years in a leadership or team management role within analytics. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools and modern data stack components. - Ability to translate business requirements into analytical deliverables. - Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - A degree in a quantitative or analytical field. Preferred qualifications include experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or B2B marketplace environments, familiarity with analytics engineering concepts, and hands-on experience with data visualization and KPI frameworks.
