Senior Manager – Human Resources & Employee Lifecycle/Engagement

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to lead and manage the overall human resources function. The role will involve recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, training, employee relations and day-to-day human resources operations.

The person will work closely with business leaders to ensure effective people management, improve employee satisfaction and build a positive work environment and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment: Work with department heads to understand hiring needs, manage recruitment and ensure timely hiring of suitable candidates.
• Employee Onboarding: Oversee joining formalities, documentation, induction and smooth integration of new employees.
• Employee Engagement: Plan and implement activities that improve employee satisfaction, participation and workplace experience.
• Performance Management: Coordinate employee performance reviews, probation assessments and development plans.
• Training & Development: Identify employee skill gaps and organise suitable training and development programmes.
• Employee Relations: Conduct employee feedback sessions, address workplace concerns and support employee retention.
• Human Resources Operations: Oversee employee records, attendance, policies, documentation and other day-to-day human resources activities.
• Employee Exit Management: Manage resignation processes, exit interviews, clearances and final settlement coordination.
• Team Management: Lead, guide and develop the human resources team, ensuring timely and effective delivery of responsibilities.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing human resources processes and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• 15–18 years of overall experience in Human Resources, preferably in jewellery or other manufacturing, FMCG or other large organisations.
• Strong experience across recruitment, employee engagement, performance management and human resources operations.
• Experience in managing and developing a human resources team.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and department heads.
• Strong communication, coordination and people management skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to manage both strategic and operational human resources responsibilities.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
