Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Senior Engineer to support our operations through effective maintenance of equipment, utilities, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machine and electrical maintenance, ETP operations, and preventive maintenance strategies to ensure smooth and efficient plant functioning. Role & responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime. Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records. Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance efficiency and optimize equipment performance. Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant maintenance. Machine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime Electrical Maintenance: Maintain and repair electrical systems including motors, control panels, wiring, and circuits. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and conduct preventive electrical checks. ETP Operation (Effluent Treatment Plant): Monitor and operate ETP systems to comply with environmental and regulatory standards. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues within the ETP. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure timely execution of PM tasks. Facility Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of facility infrastructure including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general utilities. Address day-to-day facility-related maintenance issues promptly. Preferred candidate profile Must have Experience Compression Moulding Industry
