About the Role

Senior kdb+ Developer

permanent, full-time, Remote

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading technical delivery on client projects, setting the standard for quality and performance
• Designing and implementing robust

  kdb+ architectures

  that handle billions of rows of time-series data
• Collaborating with

  quants, traders, and analysts

  to translate business needs into performant, efficient code
• Mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
• Owning the full development lifecycle —

  developing, testing, supporting, and maintaining

  code for client applications
• Driving innovation by staying ahead of the curve in

  kdb+, q, and adjacent technologies

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on

  kdb+ development

  , with deep expertise in

  q

  and time-series data
• Proven experience in

  designing and scaling kdb+ systems

  in production
• Strong background in

  Unix/Linux environments

  and scripting
• Demonstrated

  technical leadership and decision-making

  in fast-paced projects
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in

  capital markets or investment banking

  , with an understanding of its demands
• A passion for

  clean, performant code

  and continuous improvement

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with
