Description
Role & responsibilities: Overall, about 8 years of hands-on development experience in Java based back end development Design and implement core business logic and backend components in both microservices and monolithic architectures using Java Develop backend modules that handle data processing, validations, caching, scheduling tasks (e.g., Quartz, Spring Scheduler) Implement and maintain data access layers using Spring Data JPA, JDBC, or other persistence frameworks Develop internal service components, backend workflows, and shared libraries to support business requirements Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability Experience in Design, develop, and maintain scalable Spring Boot-based microservices Build RESTful APIs that are secure, performant, and reusable Strong experience in building unit testing frameworks using JUnit Integrate services with enterprise systems, third-party APIs, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) Some experience in deploying containerized applications using Docker and deploy and managing services on Kubernetes clusters or equivalent orchestration platforms Experience with cloud services (one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP) Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Working knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.) Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Experience in agile development environments Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Unit Testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) Experience in any Front-end Technology like Angular or React preferred Experience in using any code completion/generation tools like co-pilot or Tabnine or Cursor is preferred.
