As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at our company, you will play an intermediate role in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas - Perform hands-on coding, design, testing support, debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery and deployment of Mainframe applications - Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements - Optimize mainframe programs for performance and efficiency - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers - Participate in code reviews and conduct quality assurance activities - Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgments - Provide regular status updates to the manager and work with minimal supervision Qualifications: - 10+ years of IT experience in the banking and financial industry - Experience working with Java (Java 11 & above), Angular, and microservices - Hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle) & No-SQL (MongoDB) - Strong experience working on Threads and stream concept in Java Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
