Senior IT QA Analyst

As a Senior IT QA Analyst at Assurant-GCC, India, you will collaborate with international clients, business partners, architects, developers, end users, management, and IT groups to drive test cases automation for all testing activities related to the delivered features. Your role will involve designing and executing scalable automation solutions for UI and API testing, with a primary focus on Java and/or .NET, REST API automation, APIM, BDD frameworks, and AI-powered testing tools. You will be responsible for regression/sanity automation, daily CI/CD test execution, and ensuring high-quality product delivery in Agile environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Selenium, Java/.NET, and other relevant tools. - Automating and updating regression/sanity test cases for both UI and APIs. - Executing daily automated regression/sanity testing using CI/CD pipelines. - Creating and maintaining BDD-style test cases using Cucumber (Java) or SpecFlow (.NET). - Testing REST APIs integrated through API Management platforms like Azure APIM. - Collaborating with functional/business teams to clarify requirements, understand workflows, and validate testing needs. - Leveraging AI-powered testing tools for self-healing tests, visual validation, and test optimization. - Identifying high-risk areas and prioritizing automation coverage. - Conducting test reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and promoting automation best practices. - Monitoring automated test runs, debugging failures, and ensuring test stability. - Reporting test results, logs, and metrics to stakeholders using dashboards or reporting tools. Requirements for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - 6+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation with expertise in Java and/or .NET, Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, BDD frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. - Hands-on experience with API Management tools like Azure APIM or Apigee. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices. - Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test result reporting. - Experience in AI-enhanced testing tools or concepts. - Experience with tools like ADO. - Basic SQL knowledge to work with Oracle database.
