About the team: We are currently hiring for Information Technology Team "IT Application Development and Operations" as part of ZF Strategic Digital Transformation initiatives. Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Production Application Support - Backdesk to join our team, focusing on maintaining and supporting critical production applications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will primarily involve the management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA systems used on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in high availability and resilience, ensuring that our production systems run smoothly with minimal downtime. The role requires someone who can quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a constantly evolving environment, while working effectively to support mission-critical applications. You will provide 24/7 support for MES and SCADA systems in production environments, ensuring maximum uptime and system performance. Your profile as IT Production Application Support - Backdesk (m/f/d): - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience with MES, SCADA, or similar production systems in a manufacturing environment. - Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and production-specific technologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively. - Experience with system monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus). - Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and server administration (Linux/Windows).
