Job Summary - Gopalan Enterprises is looking for an experienced Interior Sales professional with a strong background in interior design sales, client relationship management, and business development. The ideal candidate should have proven experience ingenerating leads, understanding client requirements, presenting interior solutions, and converting prospects into success full business opportunities.

1. Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Interior Sales Executive will be responsible for handling clients who have booked flats through the Sales Team, along with the booked-client list shared by the CRM Team.

The responsibilities include:

• Contacting booked clients, understanding their requirements, and explaining our interior design services.
• Collecting client requirements, including the floor plan, preferred design style, materials, finishes, and other specific requirements.
• Sharing the floor plan and detailed requirements with the Estimation Team for quotation preparation, including any specific material or finish preferences.
• Preparing and presenting an initial PPT to clients showcasing completed projects, reference designs, and relevant design concepts.
• Visiting project sites to understand client requirements and convincing clients to proceed with our interior design services.
• Encouraging clients to visit our Experience Centre (EC) to understand our offerings, materials, and finishes.
• Following up with clients after quotation submission and collecting the applicable payments as per the project payment milestones.

2. Incentive Structure.

• Payout frequency: Incentives will be paid quarterly.

3. Zoho CRM Updates The Sales Executive must update Zoho CRM at every stage of the sales process for each project. All client interactions, requirements, follow-ups, quotations, booking confirmations, payment details, and relevant progress updates must be recorded systematically to ensure proper tracking and transparency.

4. Candidate Profile Required we are looking for a candidate with a strong interior design background and good sales skills, rather than someone with only general sales experience.

The candidate should have:

• Good knowledge of interior design materials, finishes, and applications.
• Basic understanding of dimensions, measurements, floor plans, and space planning.
• Familiarity with interior design concepts, layouts, and residential interior projects.
• Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-convincing skills.
• The ability to understand client requirements and explain design possibilities practically.
• A proactive approach to client follow-ups, site visits, and payment collection.

Since this person will be the first point of contact for our interior clients, it is essential that they have sufficient technical knowledge of interiors along with the ability to convert leads into confirmed projects.
