Senior HSE Engineer

As a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional for solar projects in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, implementing, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies for solar projects to align with HSE standards. - Ensuring regulatory compliance by monitoring and ensuring adherence to local, national, and international HSE regulations and industry standards. - Identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to prevent incidents. - Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to identify areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly. - Investigating accidents, near-misses, and safety violations, and preparing detailed reports with corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences. - Organizing and conducting safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops to educate employees and contractors on best practices. - Developing and implementing emergency response plans, conducting drills, and ensuring preparedness for any unforeseen incidents. - Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure HSE best practices are integrated into project activities. - Maintaining accurate records of HSE performance, safety incidents, and compliance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Your qualifications for this role should include expertise in HSE compliance and risk management, as well as experience in safety audits and inspections.
