Job Description

As a Senior Growth Web Engineer at New Relic, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the largest and fastest-growing observability companies in the market. You will be responsible for enhancing our full-stack Drupal architecture, ensuring its scalability to meet our evolving needs. Your role will involve participating in the design process, formulating efficient content models, security models, workflows, and templates, and developing Drupal modules. You will play a key role in planning and executing migration paths from legacy platforms into Drupal, driving acquisition, onboarding, monetization, organic/viral growth, and retention across our web properties. In this role, you will integrate with various third-party MarTech solutions, contribute to the technical aspects of New Relic's public web properties to enhance customer experience, and optimize content authoring. You will work on improving the reliability and speed of delivering new features through A/B testing and operational insights. Additionally, you will create new microsites and content to drive user and developer growth, make architecture and implementation decisions within the team, and identify and resolve blockers by collaborating across teams. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong expertise in Drupal back end and front-end development with a minimum of 6 years of experience. Proficiency in PHP, Symfony, Tailwind, SCSS, and Drupal is essential. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using Agile techniques and have a collaborative work style that promotes shared code ownership. Fluency in English is a must-have requirement. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with migration API on Drupal 10 or 11, familiarity with testing tools such as Cypress and backstop, contributions to open source projects, and a background in enterprise-scale projects across different tech stacks. Experience in technical mentorship, performance tuning, accessibility, and SEO is also advantageous.
