Senior Frontend Developer / Frontend Lead

As a Senior Frontend Developer/Frontend Lead at Valeo Health, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of modern web and mobile interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and React Native. Your primary focus will be to ensure seamless performance, SEO-friendliness, and accessibility across various devices and platforms. You will drive optimizations such as SSR, SSG, Core Web Vitals, and structured data to achieve technical SEO excellence. In this role, you will also play a key part in building and maintaining shared component libraries for cross-platform use, collaborating with product, backend, design, and QA teams to deliver pixel-perfect, high-performing applications. It will be essential for you to champion engineering best practices such as clean code, scalable architecture, code reviews, testing, and performance tuning. Additionally, you will mentor and guide a growing frontend team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ownership. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in frontend development, including React.js, React Native, and experience in team/project leadership. A strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Next.js, Redux, Hooks, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design is required. Knowledge of mobile app release processes, REST APIs, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, accessibility standards, and modern UI/UX best practices is also crucial. Preferred skills for this role include experience in healthcare tech, HIPAA/GDPR compliance, familiarity with Firebase, Google Tag Manager, analytics tools, performance monitoring tools, headless CMSs, A/B testing, and serverless environments. The ability to learn quickly, take ownership of projects end-to-end, and adapt to changing priorities will be highly valued. This full-time Work From Office (WFO) role is based in Bengaluru, India.
