Job Description

As a Senior Designer on the Express Authoring Design team at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in envisioning and developing tools that democratize the creation of video-based content. Your primary responsibility will be to design intuitive experiences that empower users to craft outstanding video content efficiently and effectively. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers to strategize and implement future product features based on user research and data. By partnering with the user research team, you will conduct tests on prototypes, gather insights, and iterate on designs to enhance existing experiences and identify new opportunities for improvement. Your holistic approach to problem-solving will involve defining patterns and frameworks that can be scaled across various use cases and platforms. Additionally, you will need to uphold high quality standards and ensure that your designs align with the product's goals, priorities, and timelines. To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for creating intuitive workflows, backed by at least 5 years of relevant design experience. A degree or equivalent experience in a design-related field is required, along with a strong foundation in design principles. Your ability to present design decisions concisely and confidently to cross-functional stakeholders is essential, as is your proficiency in design tools like Figma or similar software. While not mandatory, experience working with global teams, staying updated on interaction patterns and design trends, and knowledge of video editing workflows and tools like Premiere Rush, Capcut, and Splice would be advantageous. Your openness to feedback, curiosity, and creative breadth will also contribute to your success in this role.
