About the Role
Join Tata Communications' Legal Services Group (LSG) and be part of a global legal team supporting commercial and procurement operations across multiple geographies. This role offers exposure to complex customer-facing and vendor-facing transactions, stakeholder engagement, contract negotiations, and legal risk management in a fast-paced technology and telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day legal support to global commercial and procurement teams.
Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on customer-facing and vendor-facing agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, COFs, purchase orders, amendments, and related contractual documents.
Draft special terms and conditions for commercial and procurement transactions.
Partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Product, Finance, Delivery, and other business functions to support strategic business objectives.
Conduct legal risk assessments and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
Review tenders, RFPs, RFIs, and procurement documents from a legal and commercial perspective.
Support contract lifecycle management, template development, and legal process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with external counsel and support legal projects as required.
Skills & Experience
1- 3 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or multinational in-house legal team.
Strong experience in commercial contracting and contract negotiations.
Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, research, and risk assessment capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently in a global, multicultural environment.
