Senior ETL & Data Streaming Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior ETL & Data Streaming Engineer at DataFlow Group, you will leverage your extensive expertise to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, fault-tolerance, and performance of ETL processes within the organization. Collaborating closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for translating data requirements into efficient pipeline solutions to maintain data quality, integrity, and security. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and build batch and real-time data streaming solutions using technologies such as Talend, Informatica, Apache Kafka, or AWS Kinesis. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data pipelines while developing and maintaining documentation for all ETL and streaming processes. - Implement data governance policies and best practices within Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments. - Mentor junior engineers to promote technical excellence and continuous improvement in data engineering practices. Qualifications Required: - Strong background in data engineering with a focus on ETL, ELT, and data pipeline development. - Deep expertise in ETL tools, data streaming technologies, and AWS data services. - Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language for data manipulation. - Strong database skills. - Proactive problem-solving skills, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
