Senior Engineering Manager - Distributed SaaS Platform

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Technology & Product teams and drive platform engineering for our next-generation AI-powered SaaS and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for a technically deep, product-focused leader who excels in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will include delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems while guiding a talented team of engineers through innovation, agility, and execution excellence. You will drive end-to-end system design for distributed SaaS platforms, architect and implement robust, secure, and modular microservices, lead the integration of AI/ML components and third-party services, and oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and DevOps pipelines. Collaboration with Product, Design, and Business teams to define and deliver scalable solutions, managing the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, leading tech transformation projects, and ensuring system reliability through structured monitoring and incident resolution will also be part of your role. As a leader, you will mentor and retain high-performing engineering and product teams, conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and learning. Collaborating with hiring teams to scale effectively while maintaining quality is essential. You will also collaborate with leadership to align platform roadmap with business goals, evaluate emerging technologies for practical adoption, and drive strategic technology initiatives, including digital transformation and AI-first product capabilities. The required qualifications for this role include a B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field, 7-10 years of experience in software engineering with team leadership experience, a proven track record in building and scaling SaaS or B2B platforms, strong full-stack development background (Node.js, Java Spring Boot, React.js), proficiency in cloud architecture and services (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and system design, and experience working in agile, cross-functional environments. Preferred qualifications include experience in start-ups or high-growth product environments, exposure to AI/ML integrations, GenAI tools, or chatbot platforms, and certifications in Agile, Scrum, or cloud (AWS/GCP).
