Senior Engineer - Structural Integrity

As a Structural Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for various key activities to ensure the integrity and reliability of offshore structures. Your main responsibilities will include: Risk-Based Inspection (RBI): Developing and implementing Structural RBI strategies to safeguard the integrity and reliability of offshore structures. Inspection Planning & Execution: Planning, coordinating, and executing structural inspections in collaboration with the Operator and Inspection Contractor. Written Schemes of Examination (WSE): Preparing and managing WSE work packs to guarantee compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Work Order Management: Overseeing the creation, tracking, and completion of work orders associated with structural integrity. Structural Inspection Review: Conducting comprehensive reviews of inspection reports and offering recommendations for corrective actions. Anomaly Management: Identifying, assessing, and managing structural anomalies to uphold the safety and functionality of offshore assets. Structural Analysis: Performing linear strength and fitness for service analyses to assess the structural integrity of offshore installations (preferred but not necessary). To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Experience: More than 10 years of experience working in the on- and offshore petrochemical industry with demonstrable experience in structural integrity projects. Education: A minimum of an ISCED Level 6 Bachelors or Level 7 Masters Degree in an engineering discipline. Alternatively, tertiary level education combined with suitable industry experience can be utilized to demonstrate equivalence. Certifications: Chartership or relevant professional engineer status accredited by a national or industry engineering institution is preferred. Professional Development: Demonstratable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record illustrating examples of technical and consulting development.
