Senior Engineer - Software (Python)

As an Engineer at Pramana, Inc., you will be responsible for evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposing solutions to determine operational feasibility. You will showcase your solutions through the development of documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Designing system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions will be a key part of your role. Conducting systems analysis to improve operations and recommending changes in policies and procedures will be crucial. You will be responsible for obtaining and licensing software from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products. Staying updated with the latest development tools and programming techniques will be essential to enhance your job knowledge. You will participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, and ensure the confidentiality of operations. Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues to provide information and accomplishing engineering and organization missions will also be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise in software development using Python and C++, designing interactive applications, knowledge of relational databases and SQL, experience with test-driven development, proficiency in software engineering tools, and ability to document requirements and specifications will be essential for success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent field.
