Senior Engineer-Manual Testing

As a Manual Testing Engineer within our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded system products and software solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, creating test cases for real-time control systems, and verifying product requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and reliable solutions to our customers. Your key responsibilities will involve identifying the testing effort required for each project, maintaining bug life cycles, and ensuring the closure of issues. You will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining the Advanced Fire lab for verification and validation purposes. Additionally, you will work towards establishing strong relationships within our R&D teams and demonstrating effective test design, development, testing, and report generation. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BTech) or Diploma in Engineering/M.Sc./B.Sc. with 4-6 years of experience in testing. Experience in embedded product testing, test case design, test bench setup, and validation testing is essential. Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and working experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment would be advantageous. You should possess a good understanding of basic electronics, experience in the fire domain, and familiarity with handling troubleshooting equipment. Exposure to wireless products, automation, scripting languages, BDD, cucumber framework, and different fire panel brands compliant with EN/UL standards would be desirable.
