Senior Engineer - LNX ETH Kernel driver

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs that contribute to the launch of cutting-edge, world-class products that exceed customer needs. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams is essential to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Job Function: - Development of LNX ETH kernel drivers for various IIOT products and upstreaming the solutions to open-source. Skills/Experience: - 3-5 years of Device Driver development, Embedded C development, Strong C programming skills, Strong OS fundamentals. - Preferred skills in Embedded Systems, Networking protocols, open-source kernel development. Responsibilities: - Working in aggressive timelines and in an open-source environment. - Quick verification on HW platform and on-board debugging.
