Senior Engineer - Linux Kernel and Driver Development

As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of embedded systems and software. Your proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems will be pivotal in delivering top-notch solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure project efficiency and reliability. - Design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for various applications. - Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components. - Optimize and debug embedded systems to guarantee high performance and reliability. - Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in embedded systems development. - Strong Programming skills, especially in C++/C, Python. Proficient in OS concepts and data structures. - Sound understanding of embedded systems architecture and design principles. - Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS). - Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Good experience in multimedia framework, device to cloud communication, ARM based chipsets. - Solid aptitude, quick learner, self-motivated, willing to explore and work across various technology areas.
