Senior Engineer, Infra Virtualization Consultant - VMWARE

As a Senior Engineer in the Core Delivery team aligned with a specific service, you are expected to enhance your skills across various specializations through practical experience. Your primary skills should include mid-level hands-on expertise in VMware infrastructures and X86 hardware architecture. Your responsibilities will revolve around the following Virtualization Platforms: - VMware vSphere - VMware vROPS (vRealize Operations) - VMware vRealize Automation - VMware vRealize Orchestrator - VMware Log Insight - VMware SRM (Site Recovery Manager) In terms of Frameworks, Boundaries, & Decision Making Authority, you will be accountable for project deliverables, which encompass planning, implementation, and documentation. You will be responsible for tasks such as: - Installing and managing ESX and ESXi hosts of various versions on different models of blade and rack servers. - Deploying and managing environments, resolving logical, physical, and capacity-related issues. - Monitoring the infrastructure using vRealize Operations Manager. - Monitoring and analyzing infrastructure using vRealize log analyzer. - Supervising incident, change, and problem management procedures. - Managing ESXi and vCenter environments. - Monitoring the environment's health using monitoring tools to identify errors and crashes. - Identifying the root causes of incidents and implementing corrective and preventive measures. - Managing virtual infrastructure backup and restore procedures.,
