Senior Engineer- Graphics

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: - Applying software knowledge and experience to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency. - Analyzing user needs and software requirements to customize software. - Designing and implementing software modules for products and systems. - Participating in designing, coding, unit testing, debugging fixes, and integration efforts. - Performing code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging and fixes. - Collaborating with project teams to achieve project objectives. - Writing technical documentation for software projects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year experience OR PhD in relevant field. - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in relevant field, 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, 2+ years of experience with Database Management Software, 2+ years of experience with API, and 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System. In this role, you will work under supervision and your decision-making may affect work beyond the immediate work group. You will need strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information effectively, including basic negotiation and influence skills. You will be required to plan, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks effectively as tasks do not have defined steps.
