Senior Engineer - Engineering Systems

As a Senior Engineer specializing in Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) at Petrofac, your role involves various configuration activities of SmartPlant Foundation. This includes mapping properties from different SmartPlant tools to SPF and vice versa. Your responsibilities also include integration of Smart Plant tools with SmartPlant Foundation, backup and restore of SPF, and knowledge of the database of SPF and various tools that integrate with it. Key Responsibilities: - Strong working knowledge and experience with SmartPlant Modules such as Schema Object Administration, System Administration, Change Management Administration, Server Manager, and Schema Editor - Creating, updating, querying, and detailing form configurations in SPF setup - Managing SPF schema components like Hierarchy, Class Def, Interface Def, Property Def, Rel Def, View Def, Edge Def, Graph Def, Forms, Menus, Menu Items, and Methods - Setting up security models like User, Roles, and Access groups - Requirement gathering for new SmartPlant projects - Creating project documents like RFP, FRS, and FDS - Providing installation and configuration support for SmartPlant Enterprise Suite applications Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Minimum of 10 years of related oil & gas/petrochemical experience - Previous experience in E&P Information Management - Proficiency in SPF/SDx - Experience in applying SPF/SDx Portal Development and Administration skills to upstream oil and gas projects - Preferred software experience includes SPF/SDx, SP3D, SPEL, SPI, and SPPID - Proficiency in .NET Programming, ASP, C#, XML, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Databases, SSRS Reporting tools, and IIS Your expertise in document management, transmittals, workflows, Vault management with replication, and various other SPF functionalities will be crucial in providing configuration and production support to customers.
